Chivers Construction is seeking experienced Project Managers and Estimators.

YOU ARE: A driven, detail-oriented, organized and sharp individual who knows heavy civil construction or a related industry. You're interested in becoming part of a team of estimators and project managers who see a job through from start to finish, and can estimate and/or manage large projects with multiple moving parts. You love to solve problems and can anticipate and solve issues before they become big problems.

 

WHAT WE EXPECT: Project Managers and Estimators work as a team and can demonstrate detailed knowledge of plans and specs, effectively discern project scope, anticipate and plan for job requirements, and meticulously manage job setup, including scheduling of equipment, labor power, subcontracts, job costing, and scheduling. PMs are also expected to communicate effectively with project owners, engineers, and superintendents to facilitate efficient and high-quality job completion.

 

Knowledge of estimating and project management software is a big plus, and 5+ years project management experience is desired.

Commercial Driver's License Endorsement:

H - Required to drive a vehicle with hazardous materials placards (you must be 21 years of age)

N - Required to drive a tank vehicle

T - Required to drive double and triple trailers

P - Required to drive a vehicle designed to carry 18 passengers or more including the driver

S - Required to drive a school bus.  Designed to carry 11 passengers or more including the driver.

X - Represent a combination of hazardous materials and tank vehicle endorsements (you must be 21 years of age)
